AMY ALLIANCE ANNUAL DINNER - JUNE 3:  Registration window extended through Tuesday, May 28

The Army Alliance Annual Dinner will be held June 3, 2019, from 5:30 to 8:30PM at Water's Edge Events Center, 4687 Millennium Drive, Belcamp, MD, 21017.  We are pleased to announce that our speaker will be Maryland's LT Governor Boyd K. The Chesapeake Chapter of Sigma Xi – the Scientific Research Honor Society is holding its monthly meeting on Monday, May 27, 2019 from 1200 to 1300 at the Exton golf course clubhouse, Bldg. Technical Training Classroom - Governor's Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs is hosting training on May 28, 2019 at the Coordinating Offices, 100 Community Place, Crownsville, MD 21032.  At 10:00 AM, Federal Contracting 101 will be held and at 2:00 PM, Negotiation Strategies & Closing Techniques will be held.  This series of FREE classes covers a broad range of topics designed to help small, minority, women, and veteran business owners improve managerial efficiency and gain an insightful understanding of the government contracting arena.  CLICK HERE to see the entire schedule and to register.

The 12th Annual NMTC Tournament, co-sponsored by NEXTGEN Federal Systems, supporting the Northeastern Maryland Tech Council and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties, will be held June 3, 2019 at Winter’s Run Golf course.  The play is a 4-person scramble with a 7:30AM registration and a 9AM start.  Click HERE to register and for sponsorship info.  The Tournament includes a $25,000 Hole-In-One contest (and other Par 3 prizes), the longest Drive & Closet To The Pin contests, Hot Breakfast, Snack Bags, Hospitality Stations, Mission BBQ lunch and awards reception following golf, and signature Drone Ball Drop.

The 2nd Annual Young AFCEAN Bowling Bash has been moved to June 11, due to ongoing construction at Brewner Lanes. Come join us now on Tuesday, June 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the APG Bowling Center.  Tickets are $25 each in advance and include 2 Games, Shoe Rental, Light Food, a T-Shirt, and giveaways!  Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $30 each (Cash only).  Proceeds from the event will be given to the Boys and Girls Club of Harford and Cecil County. The 10th Annual NDIA APG Night Out at the Ballgame  supporting the David C Robinson Memorial STEM Scholarship and the GoldStar Mothers of Central Maryland, will be held June 14th, 2019 at Leidos Field (Ripken Stadium), Aberdeen, MD.  Join us in a reserved club level suite with excellent food, access to a pay-as-you-go bar, air-conditioned comfort and excellent views of the entire field and ballpark.  CLICK HERE for info about the APG Chapter of the NDIA.  Profits from this event will help fund STEM programs and scholarships for high school students interested in science and engineering careers.  Cost is $45 per person. Sign up today for AFCEA Aberdeen’s Annual Golf Tournament, a highly anticipated annual fundraiser, at Ruggles Golf Course, just outside APG’s 715 gate, on June 26, 2019.  The event includes a four-person scramble, BBQ lunch, and awards reception.  Check in and tee assignments begin at 0800 with a shotgun start at 0900.  All proceeds from this event will benefit AFCEA Aberdeen’s Education Program, which has provided more than $400,000 in STEM grants and scholarships to the local education community since 2011.  For more info or to register for this event, please visit our tournament website!
