ANNUAL ARMY ALLIANCE BREAKFAST WILL BE HELD NOVEMBER 15, 2018

OPPORTUNITY

Harford County has released Request for Proposal (RFP) 19-089 Edgewood CBRNE Economic Impact Study.  This study looks to assess chemical, biological and medical sector growth from 2018-2028 and its projected impacts on the greater Edgewood community regarding local amenities and services to the APG South mission activities. Deadline for submissions is October 1. Additional information is posted to the Procurement bid board and potential bidders should refer back to this link for any addendums.

The Chesapeake Chapter of Sigma Xi – the Scientific Research Honor Society (https://www.sigmaxi.org) is holding its monthly meeting on September 24, 2018 from 1200 to 1300 at the Exton golf course clubhouse, Bldg. Northeastern Maryland Technical Council (NMTC) Tech-Start 2.0 is a boot camp for entrepreneurs that will be held at Baltimore County Library's Towson BranchWorkshop 1 – Have an Idea - What’s Next, on September 25, 2018. 6:30 – 7:30PM, will provide an overview of the proven steps other inventors and entrepreneurs have taken to move an idea from concept into cash. Northeastern Maryland Technical Council (NMTC) STEM Summit XVI, NEW COLLAR JOBS...HOW TO FILL THEM - WHY INDUSTRY IS DEMANDING NEW TYPES OF WORKERS will be held October  17, 2018, 12:30-4:00PM, Cecil County School of Technology, Elkton MD.  Changing technology, workplaces demand new, non-traditional jobs. They become what IBM has identified as "New Collar Jobs". SCRA and AFCEA Aberdeen invite you to a scary good time at the 8th Annual SCRA / AFCEA Aberdeen Halloween Golf Tournament on October 26, 2018, at Ruggles Golf Course, APG, MD.
