Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry April 17-18, 2018

Fed Biz announcement :Team Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) anticipates hosting the APG Discovery Week Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) on April 17-20, 2018, at APG, MD.  The goal of the APG Discovery Week APBI is to provide industry with networking opportunities for both large and small businesses.  The APBI will describe potential future contracting opportunities for mission areas that focus on: Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance; Research and Development; Test and Evaluation; Chemical and Biological Defense; APG Garrison; and US Army Corps of Engineers - Baltimore District.  The APG Discovery Week APBI will identify potential contracting opportunities that are aligned with the roadmaps of each respective organization, specifically focusing on Fiscal Years 2019-2020.  Specific registration procedures and additional information about APG Discovery Week APBI will be released via amendment to this Feb Biz announcement.  All questions related to this event should be directed to Team APG at usarmy.apg.cecom.mbx.apbi-registration@mail.mil.


EVENTS

The Mission of the MD/DC District Export Council (DEC) is to provide advice, education, assistance, and mentorship to current and potential MD & DC exporters of goods and services to help them develop and grow their export sales.  The DEC has put together a series of Export education programs that walk through all the steps.  During these sessions prospective exporters will be exposed to the issues surrounding exporting by experts from industry and government well prepared to address the topics.  The first session, Finding Customers, is scheduled for Thursday, February 15, 2018.
