Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. Did you know that there are cemeteries at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG)? The APG Community Spouses Club is leading the effort to ensure every veteran grave at APG has a wreath (first goal) and then they are working to ensure every grave will have a wreath (their reach goal, to honor all family members – 400 wreaths). The Maryland Department of Commerce is seeking qualified applicants for the contractual position of Defense Industry Outreach Manager within its Office of Military and Federal Affairs.
