ARMY ALLIANCE ANNUAL BREAKFAST MEETING:
Join the Army Alliance for our Annual Breakfast Meeting on November 30th, 8 to 10AM at the Richlin Ballroom. Our panel will address the Army’s biomanufacturing efforts that are leading the way for the Department of Defense, the curriculum support provided from our local Community Colleges, and the plans to accelerate biomaterial development and production capacity by creating a regional biomaterials hub with an anchor in Harford County. The AOC APG Susquehanna Chapter will present an APG Satellite Communications Workshop on October 25, 10:00AM to Noon, at the CACI Main Conference Room, 6240 Guardian Gateway, APG, MD. A MathWorks product expert will be on-hand to guide you through this interactive workshop as you learn to streamline satellite-related workflows with minimal coding. Harford Veterans Family Resource Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, 10:00AM to 1:00PM at the Bel Air Armory, 37 N. Main Street. Local veterans, all military, and their families are welcome to Harford County’s one-stop event for information about veterans’ healthcare and benefits, printed guides to resources and local businesses that offer veteran discounts, and more. Harford County veterans can also enter a drawing for two Ravens vs. Steelers tickets or one of eight $50 gift cards, courtesy of APGFCU. A free lunch will be provided, catered by Mission BBQ. Free transportation can be reserved from Edgewood and Joppatowne by calling 443-966-4518. We hope to see you there!
The AUSA/SCRA Halloween Golf Outing is set for October 26, at Ruggles Golf Course. Hosted by the AUSA Young Professionals, this wacky event includes costumes, unusual putters, and a 3-club scramble. Game start at 9:30 a.m. Click here for more information.
Women in Defense (WID) Mid-Atlantic Chapter is back with our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, set for October 31, 11:30 am at MacGregor’s Restaurant, 331 St John St., Havre de Grace, MD.
