The Government Procurement Conference (GPC) is scheduled for OCTOBER 14-15 2020 as a virtual conference. The GPC is a national conference fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government, its prime contractors, and small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses. Participating firms will have the benefit of marketing their products/services to procurement representatives and small business specialists from government agencies. The conference also includes educational conference sessions, procurement matchmaking and a dynamic Government and Prime Contractor exhibitor showcase. PEO IEW&S is "pulling the curtain back" on its plans for future contract opportunities as well as providing insight on how they do business. Starting 28 October, (initially virtually via MS TEAMS) they will kick-off a series of monthly Industry engagements designed to serve as a collaborative space for Industry and their PMs. Each event will include a review of the PEO's current Acquisition Requirements Lead Time (ARLT) and Procurement Administrative Lead Time (PALT) activities as well as updates on any timeline or requirements changes. The topics for the 1st ALT Industry Day Session include: FY21 Contract Opportunities to include major milestone dates on the critical path to contract award; Strategic Mission/Vision of PEO IEW&S; and Q&A between industry and the PEO/PMs. To participate, register HERE by 23 Oct 2020 to receive access to the event link and the read-ahead materials.
